The Story

This is a digital 3D printable model of Hornet’s head from Silksong, designed to replace the original umbrella top cover. Perfect for Hollow Knight fans who want a stylish twist for rainy days!

A funny upgrade for your umbrella!

  • Fits umbrellas with a flat top (not compatible with pointy tops)

  • Color-separated parts — no multi-material printer needed

  • No supports needed!

  • Easy assembly using a standard M6×10 bolt (DIN 933)

📦 Included Files

  • STL files with a hole for M6 bolt

  • STL files without hole — you can make your own or simply use glue

  • STL file of screw that should fit well on your Knirps or Totes umbrella

  • 3MF pre-supported, print-ready file

All cut parts are placed on the print bed just as we would print them, saving you time.

📏 3D Model Dimensions

  • Width: 43 mm

  • Length: 54 mm

  • Height: 88 mm

Feel free to scale the model to fit your needs. Learn more about sizing and scaling for cosplay here.

🖨️ Printer Settings

  • Layer height: 0.15 mm

  • Infill: 10% gyroid pattern

  • Supports: 30° organic

  • For taller parts, use a brim for better bed adhesion

Settings may vary depending on your printer, so treat these as a starting point.

🛠️ Assembly

1. Unscrew the original umbrella top cover and replace it with the Hornet Head.

2. Assemble the Hornet Head using a standard M6×10 bolt and glue the parts together.

3. Secure it to the umbrella frame with the screw.

🧠 Notes:

- Works only with umbrellas that have a flat top.

- Your umbrella may have a different top end, so check the fit before final assembly.

  • Tested on a no-brand umbrella, and the M6 bolt fits great.

If it’s loose on your umbrella, simply glue the bolt in place for a snug fit.
